Household & Entity Bookkeeping
The day-to-day bookkeeping across a household — and across the entities that sit beneath it — deserves careful, discreet attention. We provide exactly that, quietly and consistently.
What This Delivers
When the bookkeeping across your household and entities is handled well, a quiet confidence settles in. You know the figures are accurate. You know where things stand. And you are not spending your own time on it.
This service takes the day-to-day record-keeping off your plate entirely — and hands it to someone who treats it with the same care you would, if you had the time.

What Brings People Here
Bookkeeping is one of those tasks that feels manageable until it isn't. A month passes without updating the records. Then another. By the time something needs checking — a question from a tax adviser, a query about a specific payment — the records are months behind and the task of catching up feels considerably heavier than it should.
For households with more than one entity, the challenge is compounded. Each entity has its own transactions, its own accounts, its own rhythm. Keeping track of all of them alongside the household itself is a real undertaking.
There is also a quieter difficulty: doing it yourself means the records are only as careful as your most distracted moment. A dedicated bookkeeper brings consistency — the same methodical attention every week, regardless of what else is happening in your life.
And when your accountant or solicitor needs something, clean records make all the difference. It saves time, reduces cost, and avoids the particular anxiety of not knowing what the numbers actually say.
Our Approach
Every transaction is reviewed, categorised, and recorded to a consistent standard — week by week, without gaps.
Each entity's books are kept separately and clearly, so there is never any confusion between household expenses and entity accounts.
When your accountant or tax adviser needs information, we provide it in a clean, organised form — reducing their time and yours.
Working Together
The working relationship is deliberately low-friction. Once the initial set-up is done and we understand your accounts and entities, most months require very little from you — receipts or statements forwarded when they arrive, and occasional questions answered when something is unclear.
We do not create work for you. Our aim is to make the bookkeeping feel entirely invisible — something that simply happens, correctly, in the background.
You will always have access to your records. Nothing is held in an opaque system — the books are yours, and you can view them at any time. If your accountant needs direct access, that can be arranged.
When circumstances change — a new entity, a property purchase, a change in how income flows — we adapt the bookkeeping structure accordingly. The transition is handled carefully, without disruption to the existing records.

per month
The monthly fee covers all regular bookkeeping across your household and the entities included in the scope we agree at the outset. Adding a new entity mid-year is something we handle — any adjustment to scope is discussed openly before it affects the fee.
Where there is a significant backlog to clear before the regular service can begin, we may discuss a one-off catch-up arrangement first. We are transparent about this from the start.
The value is not simply in having accurate records — it is in having them without the ongoing time and attention they would otherwise require from you. For most clients, that relief alone more than justifies the arrangement.
How It Works
We begin by mapping your household accounts and any entities involved — understanding what flows where and how your current records are organised (or not yet organised).
We establish the bookkeeping framework and, if needed, bring historical records up to date. This is done carefully — we check classifications with you as questions arise.
Transactions are categorised and reconciled on a regular basis. The books stay current, and nothing is allowed to fall behind.
Each month, a brief summary confirms the position. At year-end, your accountant receives everything they need — clean, organised, and ready to use.
Our Commitment
We begin with a conversation and a clear scope. If after the first month the service does not feel right for your situation, you are not obligated to continue. We would rather part on good terms than persist in an arrangement that is not working well for you.
We are also open about the limits of bookkeeping — it is not tax advice, and it is not financial planning. What we do is keep your records accurate and accessible, so that those other conversations go more smoothly.
Getting Started
Use the contact form — a name and email is enough. We will be in touch to arrange a quiet conversation.
In one short call, we understand what you hold, how it is currently recorded, and what a tidy set of books would mean for you.
We set up the framework, handle any catch-up, and begin the regular rhythm. Within weeks, the records are current and maintained.
Household & Entity Bookkeeping
If you would welcome a trusted hand keeping your household and entity books current, we would be glad to have a conversation. No pressure — simply a chance to see whether this suits what you need.
